Description:

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for the generation of new student enrollments and admissions for Jones International University through effective time management, telesales and communication skills.

 

Formal Education Required and/or Equivalent Experience:

·         Bachelor degree                               Preferred

·         Some college experience                  Required

·         College recruitment experience         Preferred

 

Materials & Equipment Used & Frequency

·         Windows OS                                                                       Daily

·         Onyx (JIU student registration and services software)              Daily

·         E-mail                                                                                 Daily

·         ACD Phones                                                                       Daily

 

Training or Certifications Required

·         Sales Training          Preferred

 

Work Environment/Physical Activities

·         Office

·         Evening hours and Saturday shifts may be required

 

Technical/ Task Statements:

1.               Follow-up and build rapport with qualified leads in order to enroll students in JIU courses.

2.               Answer phone calls and other inquiries from potential and admitted students.

3.               Qualify prospects and use appropriate sales strategies in order to close the sale or uncover and address objections appropriately.

4.               Obtain and enter information daily in order to maintain an accurate database.

5.               Apply working knowledge of Jones International University products, services, policies and procedures in a timely fashion to maintain relationships and perform position duties.

6.               Perform all necessary tasks as needed in order to process student enrollments.

7.               Able to use oral and written communication skills effectively.

8.               Able to have complete and current knowledge of all Jones International University products and policies.

9.               Able to use time management, organization and multiple task skills.
