Senior Accountant II
Formal Education Required and/or Equivalent Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Previous experience in public accounting preferred
- CPA designation preferred
Materials & Equipment Used & Frequency:
- Extensive Dynamics AX and FRx Reporting
- Extensive Microsoft Excel

Technical/Task Statements:
- Participate in the management of the accounting records, closing process and financial reporting in order to ensure timely and accurate reporting to management and external parties
- Knowledge of and proficiency with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
- Evaluate flow of transactions and processes in order to determine proper internal control procedures are maintained and most efficient policies are being practiced
- Utilize reporting and accounting system tools available (FRx, Dynamics AX, and Excel) in order to ensure that meaningful and appropriate information is being provided to management
- Demonstrate an understanding of how to research accounting issues. Assist management in determining proper accounting treatment and in application of result findings
- Use strong organizational and prioritizing skills
- Knowledge of and experience using Dynamics AX or similar accounting software
- Knowledge of intermediate and advanced Excel functionality
- Assist in Company’s budgeting and forecasting process.
- Participate in the independent audit process and the preparation of audit schedules on an annual basis.
- Manage and/or complete special projects as needed
- Maintain relationships with internal customers as needed in order to ensure that departmental customer service objectives are met
- Participate in the selection of new associates as needed in order to identify and select the most qualified and suited person for the position while ensuring legal requirements of the selection process are followed
